“All truth is simple.” Is that not a double lie?
Oh mighty television, you sat in the corner of our house converting images from black and white to technicolor right before our eyes. Now you hang on my friends walls where pictures of their family and memories use to be. I can see my neighbors watching you and hear your tales as I walk by their homes at night. Where would we be as a society without your mighty digital propaganda, where would be as a humanity without your lies? Sing to me, teach me, please tell me what to buy, what to wear, how to act, who to like, what to believe so that I can be more loved, oh mighty boob tube.
